2021 Carteret County Veterans Day Parade Cancelled Due To Weather

Organizers of the 2021 Carteret County Veterans Day parade in NC have cancelled this event that was to take place on Saturday, November 6, at 11:00 a.m. because of bad weather predicted for county locations.
This makes the second year in a row this parade was cancelled, and this event is considered one of the largest Veterans Day events in the state given our proximity to Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point, in addition to several Coast Guard installations nearby.
The 2021 even was to host nearly 1,300 participants.
