The building will be two stories on Fort Macon Boulevard and will house the fire and police departments, town administration offices and a council boardroom. On the first floor is space for the town planning department, parks and recreation, finance department and other administrative offices, as well as some conference rooms and storage.
The council estimates that this project could cost around $7.4 to $7.85 million.
