Carteret County Commissioners Lift Restrictions On Visiting The Area And Short-Term Rentals

April 29, 2020

Carteret County Commissioners repealed amendments to the county state of emergency as follows:

1) Visitation to the area by non-residents and property owners is now allowed.

2) There are no more restrictions on short-term rentals to include vacation rentals, hotel and motel rooms, RV campsites, and primitive campsites.

The lifting of restrictions is only for unincorporated areas of the county and incorporated municipalities may continue to have restrictions in place.
