The 17th annual Empty Bowls Luncheon is set to take place on February 19th, 2020 at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City NC. This event will take place from 11 am till 1 pm. This event is both a fundraising effort and an awareness campaign to bring about awareness of problem experienced by many families in the county.
Funds raised this year will help support Hope Mission, Martha’s Cupboard and Backpack Friends. Organizers report that this year’s Empty Bowls Luncheon has over 30 restaurants and 30 potters participating to feed the hungry and to increase awareness.
