The Carteret County Department of Social Services announced their push to inform local residents and families on in-home programs offered by DSS to help qualified seniors and disabled adults stay in their homes.
DSS’s in-home assistance programs can help the aging and disabled adults via food, shelter, clothing and other daily necessities in the form of a cash supplement, as well as case management services for individuals able to live in their home safely with additional supportive services.
