Look for places like Merrimon, Harlowe, and North River along with everywhere down east to exponentially grow as the new Interstate comes fully online and the airport starts taking commercial flights.

I know they are incorporated right now, but the three I just mentioned could likely become official towns after the population boom.

There is no place to build in Morehead City and over at the beach. Those new homes have to go somewhere.

I know that Portsmouth Island is not a city or town and has no population but is it in Carteret County or Hyde County?
