Local Schools Receive Exceptional Improvement From State Report

(September 2019) The State of NC has released their annual report cards on public schools and Carteret County Public Schools is ranked number one in the state according to the School Performance Grade accountability measurement.

The report showed that 88.2% of all local schools received a grade A or B. This measurement was across 17 local schools in the county.

Of the four area high school, MaST Early College High, East Carteret High, and Croatan High received a grade of A, while West Carteret came within only one point of a A.

The state report was released in September 2019 and accounted for the 2018-2019 school year.

Congratulations to Superintendent Mat Bottoms, all teachers within the system, and support staff for their exceptional professionalism.
