Kids Playground: This park has a climbing area, slide, and swings on a pirate ship. The ground around this area is constructed to protect kids that fall. There is ample seating for parents and several picnic tables.
Sitting Gazebo: On the grounds of Martin Luther King park is a covered gazebo great for just sitting and reading enjoying the downtown area, or for special events.
Grassy Area: Between the kids playground and gazebo is a large grassy area and old oak tree that is perfect for laying in the grass and enjoying a good book or playing with a Frisbee.
Public Restrooms: On the grounds of this park there is public restrooms.
Parking: Convenient parking is located at the entrance between 9th and 10th streets, but there is parking along Evans Street as well.
