Strong Cold Front To Bring Heavy Winds To Carteret County NC On February 6th And 7th

The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting a strong cold front to move in to Carteret County NC sometime around 7 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2020.

This cold front will primarily bring high winds and there is already a high wind advisory until 7 pm on Friday, February 7th, 2020.

Additionally, residents along waterways in the county can expect a high tide one foot greater than normal.

Forecasters with the NWS expect winds somewhere between 40-50 mph with sporadic downed trees and power outages.
