    I was stationed here from 2012 till 2017 and while Havelock leaves much to be desired, I did love the beaches in Carteret County and would spend nights in Morehead City and Beaufort where there is a decent amount of entertainment.

    And, Camp Lejeune is only 45 minutes away, so there is that.

    I’m new to living here (only a few days) and keep hearing these load booms which rattle my house and windows which is happening right now on December 9, 2021. Are the marines doing training?
